Who We Are

Established in 1921, St. Joseph’s Home Care (SJHC) has provided values-based community nursing services for 95 years. During this time, our organization has seen many changes, but has remained committed to delivering exemplary, client-focused care to the Hamilton community. As a faith-based organization, we are committed to providing service to all clients, regardless of their beliefs or background.

Our teams provide exceptional services for individuals living in the community. We have a staff of approximately 300 employees and provide health and community services for the Hamilton (HCCSS)  . SJHC is a proud member of the St. Joseph’s Health System (SJHS), which is founded in the healing mission of the 150-year-old tradition of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Hamilton. We pride ourselves on a system-wide commitment to caring for the whole person in body, mind, and spirit.
