160 clients living in Burlington, Milton and Oakville will receive personalized care from St. Joe’s personal support workers (PSWs)
Starting October 31, St. Joseph’s Home Care is the new contracted service provider for personal support workers that support Halton Region’s Assisted Living and Supports for Daily Living programs at:
- Bonnie Place (Burlington)
- Martin House Seniors Residence (Milton)
- John R. Rhodes Seniors Residence (Oakville)
St. Joe’s has provided assisted living services at the Region’s Wellington Terrace location in Burlington since 1995.
An additional 76 personal support workers will be joining St. Joe’s team to provide compassionate, client-centered care tailored to the unique needs of each individual.

PSWs will provide support to clients after hospital stays, help clients prevent falls and stay safe at home, offer light meal and housekeeping assistance, among other important care.
